The Russians shelled a residential area in the Podolsky district of Kyiv, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.
As subsequently added to the State Emergency Service, the remains of a downed rocket fell on a 5-storey residential building and caused a fire from 1 to 3 floors.
According to preliminary information, 12 people were rescued, 98 people were evacuated, 4 people were injured. Unfortunately, 1 person died.
The fire was extinguished at 9:14
To eliminate the consequences and save the residents, 8 units of fire equipment and 47 rescuers were involved.
