The map of the Deep State’s warfare

The war in Ukraine began on a full scale on February 24 at around 05:00 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The beginning of the invasion was marked by attacks on airfields and military depots in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and on the state border with Russia, Belarus, and occupied Crimea.

I present to your attention a map of the hostilities created by Deep State, Institute for the Study of War and CTP, which conventionally depicts the situation in Ukrainian cities:

It should be noted that this map of hostilities in Ukraine shows the current state of affairs at the front, but is not suitable or recommended for planning evacuation routes due to possible inaccuracies and delays in updating.

The map uses the following symbols:

  • blue – territory liberated from the occupiers;
  • green – territory liberated in late March – early April;
  • gray – territory that needs to be clarified;
  • red – territory under the control of the occupiers;
  • black – territory of Crimea and ORDLO;
  • pink – the territory of Transnistria. The map also shows the location of enemy units, headquarters, airfields, fleet, and directions of attacks.

Please do not use this map to plan safe routes, instead follow the instructions of the authorities and use the green corridors.

The DeepStateUA team consists of many enthusiasts who are engaged in various areas of work:

  • One group is responsible for verifying the authenticity of the news and publishing it in the Telegram channel.
  • The second group conducts reconnaissance from open sources and determines geolocation from photos and videos to refine the map.
  • The third group volunteers and looks for opportunities to buy drones at an affordable price.
  • The fourth group manages the YouTube channel. The team members spend a lot of time reading and analyzing information from Ukrainian and Russian media and telegram channels every day to create the most complete picture of the situation at the front.

DeepState receives a lot of support from its Patreon subscribers, whose funding goes to the technical support of the project. Positive feedback on the project’s work and the active use of the map by military experts for analytical purposes inspire and motivate the team to continue working and developing the project. The map is updated daily, allowing all interested parties to familiarize themselves with the general situation at the front and the territory liberated by the Armed Forces in various regions.
